EcoRing is a nonprofit organization based in the North Bay that promotes EcoTouism and Green Travel. We hold events designed to inform and educate tourist-serving businesses on how to green their operations. We also hold events promoting specific low-carbon transportation infrastructure such as rail lines, bicycle trails, water trails and equestrian trails. Finally we hold demonstration tours that demonstrate the superiority of travel without an automobile.
EcoRing needs a person competent in coordinating the details of events: finding venues, locating food vendors, scheduling activities, directing publicity.
