Veteran’s Services at the Monrovia Public Library? You bet! What better place than the community hub to find opportunities to help one another? The Veterans Resource Center is seeking volunteers to help local veterans get connected to benefits they have earned through military service. Volunteers serve as a point of contact to ensure that veterans of every era know how to find local, state, and federal benefits they may be eligible. Volunteer training is provided. If you possess patience, empathy and good listening skills, this is a great opportunity to help local veterans and their families. Whether you have experience with military service, are a veteran, or would simply like to help service members, we welcome you to join our volunteer team.
The Monrovia Public Library is the Community Relations Center, providing informational, educational, cultural and recreational resources and programs to support lifelong learning for people of all ages.
The Monrovia Public Library provides traditional library services, such as book lending and research facilities, as well as computer access, family reading events, special informational programs for adults, and child and adult literacy services.
