Get involved with Connect - a group of young professionals in the Twin Cities committed to our vision that everyone has a home.
Connect’s monthly Share-a-Meal volunteer opportunity allows you to build your network with other young professionals all while cooking, serving, and eating a meal with Aeon’s residents. The meals are special events for residents who live in our low-income apartment buildings, many of whom who have been homeless.
Connect meals are typically served at 6:30 pm and volunteers are asked to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 pm. The meal planning will be coordinated by a Team Lead who will also help give direction to the group onsite. An email confirmation with start time and parking directions will come out approximately one week ahead of time.
This is a great way to get to know your neighbors in the Twin Cities, eat a great meal which you have helped cook, and learn more about Connect, Aeon and the need for affordable housing in the Twin Cities. Space is limited to ten volunteers. Sign up today to make an impact on the Twin Cities Community and Aeon’s residents!
