Help R.O.N. restore Upper Carr Lake by planting native Monterey plants! We will be planting drought-tolerant California native plants to maintain the plant and animal diversity in Salinas. Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are welcome to join Return of the Natives Restoration Education Project Plant for Wildlife!

A great family activity that is FREE. Tools, snacks, and water provided. Bring your community service forms to get hours. We require closed-toed shoes, and recommend layers as weather may change quickly!

Directions: From Laurel Drive turn on Constitution Blvd. and drive past the Safeway shopping center. At Freedom Pkwy turn right. Turn right onto Nogal Drive and the entrance to the park is on the right. Sign in with us at the picnic tables near the playground.
