Monitor the abundance of this federally threatened bird species and educate the public of the importance of protecting snowy plovers and their habitat.
This postion is perfect for someone looking for in the field volunteer work. You will be walking up and down the beach bird counting,educating the public about this bird species, and assiting in managing habitat restoriation. Please notes this postion is physcially demanding.
Three day training and commitment is required.
