ORGANIZATION: Institute for the Study of Violence in Society

  • 3 people are interested

Our volunteering projects are measured for lasting, positive impact on local communities. We seek self-starting, motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our mission is very long-term. The specific job will be discussed upon clearance.

The Bullying Research Project is a small and growing effort by concerned people, just like you. The Project has grown from academic work at university into an independent initiative. Researchers, academics, educators, parents and the justice system all want to understand "the how" and "the why" of bullying so that it can be mitigated society-wide. By 2018, we intend producing a franchise-like package, ready for local implementation.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to make a difference in their neighborhood and community. The social entrepreneur we are looking for in this opportunity will at least 25 hours available weekly. Currently, the Project wants local community representatives in the United States - hopefully, this will be you.
