As the Volunteer Coordinator you will recruit, organize, and supervise volunteers for a particular American Cancer Society event, including but not limited to one of the following: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Treasure Valley, Bark For Life of the Treasure Valley, Dancing With The Stars of the Treasure Valley or Relay For Life.

Specific tasks include:

* Create listings to recruit volunteers for the day of the event.

* Demonstrate the value of partnering with the American Cancer Society.

* Develop and maintain relationships with volunteers.

* Act as a single point of contact for volunteer communication.

* Support event lead by organizing and supervising volunteers at the function.

* Request a list of specific logistical duties from the event lead for the day of the event.

* Organize a sign up genius (or something similar) to request and document volunteer data.

* Thank all volunteers for their contribution!
