Spanish speaking volunteers needed to help with the library's Los Cuentos Storytime one time per month on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
Responsibilities include helping set up activities, reading stories and interacting with children and families in Spanish, assisting participants as needed, informing staff if problems crop up, and cleaning up/repacking supplies and materials when the program ends.
Volunteers must enjoy working with large groups of excited children!
All prospective volunteers will be invited to the library for a short interview, and all must pass a routine criminal background check before volunteering.
