Please join us at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 for an exclusive tour of the Wishing Place, where every Wish Journey begins!
Following our tour we will be cleaning and re-organizing the kitchen area of our facility to prepare for new wish families and guests.
This is a great opportunity for those age 16 or over to gain service hours towards school requirements or a Senior Project.
Snacks and Water will be provided throughout the day and the dress code is casual with comfortable shoes.
Please reach out to our Volunteer Manager Nichoel with any questions at nmenicucci@necannv.wish.org or 916-692-3929.

Mission Statement
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Description
Our Make-A-Wish chapter grants one wish every three days in the Central California region. Volunteers throughout our chapter support our mission work in wish granting, special events, community relations, corporate fundraising, community awareness and other critical areas. Volunteers work in local communities by impacting the lives of Central California children. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available. It is important to note that during this time, we have made volunteer orientations and trainings readily available virtually for the health and safety of everyone.
Wish Granter
Wish Granters work in teams of two as a liaison between a wish family and Make-A-Wish. They help determine a child's wish and play an instrumental role in helping to turn the wish into reality. You must be at least 21 years old, complete Wish Granter training, and be able to make two or more visits to the family during the course of the wish process. Wish Visits have recently become available to do virtually as well.
