Looking to make a positive impact in your community? Volunteer with United Way of King County's Free Tax Campaign -- one of the largest Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Programs in the nation!
Every year, United Way’s Free Tax Preparation Campaign helps thousands of struggling families in the community file their taxes, access valuable and stabilizing tax credits, and keep more of what they earned. Last tax season alone, the campaign helped over 21,750 community members file their taxes, bringing $29.1 million back to the community in tax refunds.
Join our talented team of volunteers, receive training that boosts your skills, and help us spread the knowledge of underutilized tax credits that can lift so many in our community out of poverty. No tax experience necessary - we will train and support you throughout your time with us!
