FAMILY MUSIC TIME
Saturdays, volunteer shift 9:45 - 11:00 a.m., Downtown Library
Live music and sing-alongs with professional performers and educators. A delightful alternative to Saturday morning TV cartoons.
Youth event volunteers support Library staff by helping to set up the room, greet participants, assist staff and participants during the activity, and help clean up. While each event involves some specific needs, in general, volunteers need to: be 21 or older; have some experience with the relevant age group; find it easy to connect with a wide variety of people; be flexible, patient, and welcoming.
Volunteers attend a one-time orientation session and receive ongoing support and supervision from Library staff.
