Description
We need your help unloading and bagging the fresh fruits and veggies we send home to our Brighter Biters each week (selected Thursdays). We suggest wearing your workout gear or clothes you don't mind getting dirty because you're sure to get a workout in! You'll get first-hand experience fighting hunger in Houston's food deserts. We cannot operate without the commitment of our wonderful volunteers. You are needed at any (or all) of the following dates:

Description
Brighter Bites is a locally started, globally minded team of parents, educators, nutritionists and volunteers who hope to make our world brighter, one bite at a time. Every week, we deliver fresh fruits and vegetables directly into our kids’ hands, teaching them how to use and choose a different kind of fast food. Along with recipe cards, nutrition facts, and ideas for preparation, we send children home from school with bags chock full of everything from apples and oranges to kale and cauliflower - a colorful variety of foods all delicious and nutritious in their own unique way. Brighter Bites is rooted in the belief that if we give our kids something better to munch on, they will. And the lives they lead will be as vibrant as the foods they crave. Brighter choices.
