We have a number of people at Wendell Foster who love to do Arts & Crafts, & we are always looking for volunteers to help them! If you are talented at Arts & Crafts, there are a number of ways we can use you:

  • Holiday - Themed Craft Parties (Halloween Masks, Christmas Wreaths, etc...)
  • Group Craft projects
  • Individual Craft projects

This is a position that is truly only limited by your creative talents! We can obtain supplies for almost any type of craft project, so there is no need to bring in special materials on your own.

This volunteer position helps our residents by giving them a chance to be creative & by helping them personalize their environment.

This position is flexible to just about any schedule: days, afternoons, nights or weekends!

Wendell Foster is a leading non-profit organization in Western Kentucky that assists individuals with disabilities of all ages. As a training, residential, and therapeutic facility, Wendell Foster offers state of the art technology and the highest caliber of services. Wendell Foster was founded in 1947 by Wendell and Edith Foster with the dream to create a brighter future for their daughter, Louise, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Almost eighty years later, we continue to strive to achieve our founders' dream.
