Mission Statement
The Life Skills Educational Program is based upon the premise that at-risk students have different needs, learn at different rates and have diverse learning styles which are not currently being addressed by traditional public schools and have caused many of these students to drop out of school. The mission of Life Skills is to educate, engage and inspire students in a learning environment that models the values of integrity, teamwork, perseverance and personal responsibility, and where respect is the foundation of productive relationships, such that each graduate possesses the knowledge and character to meet the challenges of learning, working and living in the 21st Century. This mission will be served by providing the School’s students with an individualized and self-paced program set in a flexible environment that is responsive to its students’
