Red cross works as a disaster relief response, organizations and individuals to help those in the greater Modesto Area who are in need of relief and other humanitarian services.
Major responsibilities include: Disaster response, preparedness education, support to the Armed Forces, health and training, International and Humanitarian services, office and business support, and medical volunteers. Bilingual volunteers encouraged.
Volunteers who are 55 years and older will qualify for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program RSVP under Senior Corps (a federal program) to receive extra benefits of supplemental insurance to cover them while they volunteer and .50 cents per mile within Stanislaus County.
