About

STEM Mentoring Opportunity!

Share your passion for science and/or engineering and serve as a mentor for girls on the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore's First Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Team, which is lead by the team's Coach.

The team is comprised of a Coach and Girl Scouts in 7th-12th grades from both Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Offer your time as often or as little as you like by attending a weekly meeting to help girls prepare for the team's upcoming FTC competitions.

The girls meet on average, two times per week, however, mentors have the flexibility to offer their time from once to multiple times if desired.

Desired Outcome: Mentoring the girls will help empower them to develop their interests, skills, and confidence in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
