Eduacional Fair for families in the East Boston area. Children and parents will be doing hands-on activities to learn how to develop emotional intelligence. Examples: emotions recognition, empathy (write a card for someone you appreciate), negotiation (child and parent will build a tower), Mindfulnees activities, minute to win challenges for parents and children to have fun and build on their relationship. We need volunteers to help on these activities tables and to help with the flow of people in the hall.
Volunteers will receive free snacks.
English, Spanish and Portuguese speakers will attend this fair.
we would love to have a yoga teacher to do some activities with the children as well.

The Youth Engaged and Aspired (YEA) Center serves Portuguese speaking youth in middle and high school. The Life Skills development programs vision to prepare and guide students to enroll in postsecondary education. The center provides workshops for parents on the topics related to postsecondary education as well social and emotional development of youth.
