Description
CISTA has school site staff positioned in each of the Tecumseh Public School buildings providing community based integrated student supports by working with teachers, administrators, students and parents to address the underlying reasons why students drop out of school. The site coordinators and HS graduation coach work with students to address their individual needs and leverage community resources in suport of their academic acheivement, as well as socio-emotional health and well-being. Services focus on whole school, group and individual interventions. Service categories include (but not limited to); basic needs, behavior interventions, youth empowerent, family engagement, building assets and life skills, academic assistance, community service, financial stability, sibstance abuse prevention and post secondary exploration/career opportunities.
