Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach is in need of clothing room substitutes Monday-Thursday from 10am to 2pm and a weekly volunteer on Wednesdays. This volunteer position assists clients select clothing items. Volunteers also sorts through clothing donations and keeps the clothing organized.

Description

Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services has been an anchor in the Sea Island community since before Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and in the eastside of Charleston at the Neighborhood House for over 100 years. We operate two campuses - one on Johns Island that serves residents of Johns, James, and Wadmalaw Islands, West Ashley (inside 526), Adams Run, Meggett, Ravenel, Hollywood, Edisto Island - and the other in the Eastside Community of downtown Charleston that serves residents of downtown Charleston and West Ashley (outside 526). We were founded by the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy in 1989 and we are a 501c3 organization.
