We are in dire need of people to help us with the repair and maintenace of equipment that is used at the animal sanctuary. In addition, we need help with fencing projects, building projects/repairs and groundskeeping. Howling Timbers is a very peaceful environment and good for your soul.

To provide life-long sanctuary to wolves, wolf dogs, and exotic animals that have been neglected, abused, abandoned or relinquished by their previous owner. To assist humane societies, animal shelters and the Michigan Department of Agriculture with the placement of wolf dogs and exotic animals. To educate the public on proper care and humane treatment of all animal species.
Description
Howling Timbers is home to a wide variety of exotic animals including a monkey, coatimundi, fox, sugar gliders, prairie dogs, and chinchillas. Resident farm animals include horses, pigs, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, and miniature donkeys. The sanctuary is totally staffed by volunteers and supported by donations.
