We're sending solar-powered lights to Gaza and our Brighten the Future for Gaza's Children project is really taking off. We seek a wonderful people person who is very well organized, a combination of an experienced sales manager and an experienced event planner, to lead the Brighten the Future Campaign as the Brighten the Future Coordinator.
The position will require 3-4 days per week at the office to schedule table events, recruit volunteers, and train them. Weekend work is required too, as many of the craft fairs will be on the weeked.
You would work with the Executive Director and our team to define and realize goals, developing the the strategy and objectives to move the project moves forward. Your job may require U.S. travel, at Rebuilding Alliance's expense, to achieve these objectives. You'll reach out to affinity groups and volunteers who will help you reach each new distribution goal. Travel to help set-up donation tables and sales events is entirely encouraged and developing volunteer programs at universities and places of worship would be great.
This is currently a volunteer position.
