During this exciting event, parents at KidWorks purchase gifts for their children at a significantly reduced price, empowering low-income parents to contribute to their family's Christmas celebration. The small proceeds from the store go into benevolence fund that helps meet some of the emergency needs of families we serve during the Christmas season and beyond.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to help wrap gifts for the parents during this event. The Christmas store will take place on Tuesday, December 13th from 8am-12pm and 3pm-7pm, and on Wednesday, December 14th from 8am-12pm. Volunteers are welcome to help out in 2 hour shifts (i.e. 8-10am, 10-12pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm). Space is limited. Sign up now!

Description
Since 1993 KidWorks has been working to restore at-risk communities in Central Santa Ana. We currently operate three learning centers. Our aim is to provide a safe place in the community for children, youth, and adults to be encouraged, challenged, and supported. Some of the services we offer are after-school tutoring, computer help, a library, creative arts classes, a state licensed preschool and mentoring for teens.
