Here's a great way to build your social media skills! Our video on AJ+ is going viral! https://www.facebook.com/ajplusenglish/videos/815911888550320/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE
We ask your help to reach out to @GoogleMaps, @Waze, and @Apple to put hundreds of missing Palestinian villages on their maps. Please join us at Rebuilding Alliance's office in Burlingame as we form a team of 20 Social Media Activists.
Our Campaign is called #WheresMyVillage. As part of Rebuilding Alliance's Social Media Activist Team, you'll be assigned a group of 40 Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank. We'll ask you to post to 'I care about VillageName' on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, asking @GoogleMaps, @Waze, and @Apple #WheresMyVillage. We'll ask you to follow your villages through the weeks ahead, replying to posts and adding new posts too.
This team meets Mondays, Wednesday and Thurdays from 11-3pm at Rebuilding Alliance's office. This will be a team with a lot of team spirit - and there's enough time in the 11-3pm schedule to go out to lunch together too!
Rebuilding Alliance is located 1818 Gilbreth Road, Suite 243, Burlingame near the Millbrae Road exit off Hwy 101. We're one mile walking-distance from the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station.
Interested? Please reply with a cover letter addressed to Donna describing why you want to be part of our new Social Media Activist team, your resume, and three references. Also please let us know if you have an Android phone. We'll get back to you soon.

About Rebuilding Alliance
Location:
50 Woodside Plaza Ste. 627, Redwood City, CA 94061, US
Mission Statement
Rebuilding Alliance is dedicated to advancing equal rights for the Palestinian people through education, advocacy, and support that assures Palestinian families the right to a home, schooling, economic security, safety, and a promising future.
Description
We learned early-on that to build in war-torn communities one must partner locally with non-governmental organizations that hold the trust of the local community and maintain the highest standards of fiscal and personal integrity.
Everyone who works at Rebuilding Alliance is committed to building peace and justice through programs that make a tangible difference and together, we do our best to make RA a great place to work. Many who have joined RA as interns or in entry-level jobs have gone on to their dream-job or pursued advanced degrees.
One of our past interns wrote the following:
"I always talk about interning with Rebuilding Alliance as one of my most important, challenging and formative work experiences, especially when I'm in interviews. You asked and expected big things of me right away, and I'm so grateful for that - coordinating a teleconference series, making phone calls to important peacekeepers, offering insights in team meetings, updating our internet presence. These are skills that I value so highly, and that I'm sure will be so important as I enter this industry that is entirely new to me. I would also like to stay in touch with you and Rebuilding Alliance and help in any way I can in the coming years, whether through donations or volunteering my time when I'm back in the Bay Area."
