ORGANIZATION: Pathways To Compassion Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Pathways to Compassion Hospice is seeking compassionate, caring individuals to serve as hospice volunteers. PTCH serves patients in Milford area and those patients need a friendly visitor! Volunteers provide support to terminally ill patients and their families in our community by offering comfort care, respite care, and companionship to patients. Hospice volunteers, as a part of the interdisciplinary team, make an unselfish commitment to be a steady source of comfort and compassion for the families they serve. Volunteers may offer relief for the family, listen and support the patient and family, or simply play cards with the patient. If you are a good listener, or a good talker, and are able to provide a comforting touch and calming presence, this volunteer opportunity is for you! We also welcome students needing to fulfill service learning projects. Thank you for your interest!
