Looking for volunteers to help in various shifts for our annual stuff the bus event. This is a very important that supplies our shelter with food and supplies so that we can operate throughout the year. We will need volunteers Tuesday - Sunday, Nov 1-6, at Palm Desert, Cathedral City and La QUinta Targets.

Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
