Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
In order to grant the hundreds of wishes our chapter grants every year, we work with a large base of donors who support Make-A-Wish, and host several major fundraising events throughout the year. In thinking of the holiday season, we are sending thank you cards and calendars to our volunteers, donors, and event hosts.
Because the mailing is over 1500 recipients, we have a lot of letters to fold and stuff. We are looking for a few volunteers who can help, or perhaps a group. Is your company looking for an afternoon volunteer project? Come support Make-A-Wish!
All of the letter-stuffing must be done at the Make-A-Wish office in downtown Oakland (right above the 12th Street BART), during our office hours (9am-5pm M-F).
The date is flexible, but must be done the week of Nov 13th.
