CEL enriches the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by maximizing their opportunities for personal success, fun & friendship, employment, and community involvement. We are located 5 minutes from Deerfield, IL.
We need for volunteers for our Tuesday Art night program for the summer session (June to August). Come and socialize and create happy memories for adults with developmental disabilities! Volunteers assist staff with painting, promoting healthy social skills, and having fun alongside our members with disabilities.
In order to provide consistency for our members, we ask that volunteers commit to twice a month for the duration of the session. Contact us today to get involved!

Description
The Center for Enriched Living is a social enrichment and skill-development center dedicated to serving people with developmental disabilities or special needs. We strive to make The Center a place where our members can truly belong and where new opportunities, new challenges, and new friendships await them. All of our programs have a dual focus of engaging in fun activities while also learning and expressing social skills with peers. Most importantly, programs are designed with our members - they tell us what they want to learn and we create it! Activities may include: dance, drama, music, arts, fitness, cooking, nutrition, gardening, technology, community outings and much more.
