Volunteers bring the gift of caring to a Hospice patient and their family!
If you are looking for something meaningful in your life - if you like to help others - if you want to make a real difference in the world - please read on!
Medi Home Health and Hospice is looking for You! We welcome kind, caring, compassionate people to join our team of Volunteers. Whether you help in our office or visit with our patients, the time you give is valued.
Here are some of the things you might do as a Volunteer...
*Help out in the Hospice office, with filing, copying, sorting and so on...
*Visiting our patients. Some live in Skilled Nursing Facilities and some live in ther own homes. You'll meet some wonderful people...
*Be a Special Projects Volunteer. We make Comfort Blankets for our patients, which are either knitted or crocheted. We have a Memory Bear program, through which we may provide a personal, loving memento for the patient's family...
There are many ways to participate! Please call if you'd like to know more. We appreciate your interest!
