Landmark West! is a small but vibrant NGO supporting the preservation of historic buildings on the Upper West Side. We welcome additional support in our office to help resize and label digital photographs of buildings as well as create entries for landmarked buildings regarding architect, year built, etc. into a special database. Familiarity and comfort with computers is necessary - moving between programs, resizing photos, researching data online, handling multi-stage data entries, etc. A dependable few hours a week would be a tremendous contribution. This is a great way to learn the history of incredible buildings on the Upper West Side and be part of a fun, volunteer-driven office. Thank you!

Mission Statement
LANDMARK WEST! is a non-profit community organization working to preserve the best of the Upper West Side’s architectural heritage from 59th to 110th Streets between Central Park West and Riverside Drive. Since 1985, it has worked to achieve landmark status for buildings and historic districts. Today, Landmark West! is the proud curator of the area’s nearly 3,500 designated landmarks (up from only 337 in 1985), and continues to promote awareness of these architectural treasures through education and advocacy.
