bryant homestead

The William Cullen Bryant Homestead's An Old-Fashioned Christmas is returning for it's second year on December 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd. For these weekends, the house will be open to the public for a special holiday celebration! A part of this holiday tradition includes the decoration of the rooms by local community partners, businesses and neighbors. Visitors can tour the festively decorated historic rooms and enjoy seasonal refreshments & cheer while browsing our holiday pop-up shop filled with local artisanal wares. Each weekend offers something different: from carolers to Santa Clause, poetry and Christmas tales!

We are seeking approximately volunteers to help us with refreshments, serve as greeters in our decorated rooms, and work in our pop up artisan gift shop. Shifts are 4 hours long but shorter shifts may be available.

This program, as all programs do, supports the conservation and protection work of the Trustees, a state-wide nonprofit organization protecting 116 properties in MA for their conservation and enjoyment by the public.
