RSVP is searching for some dedicated 55+ volunteer drivers for the home-delivered meal program, Mobile Meals. By becoming a volunteer driver you are assisting your community with the aging and disabled population. You will be making a direct impact in the lives of the individuals by promoting healthier living and safety at a time when they are most vulnerable. You will deliver hot nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks that enable seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity. Meals are delivered 7 days a week at approximately 11AM - 12PM. Training is proveided and a supplemental insurance for your security.

The mission of RSVP of Clinton County is to promote the engagement of individual’s age 55 and better to contribute to their communities through significant volunteer service, to provide a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of the volunteers, and to provide communities with valuable services to meet the unmet community needs.
Description
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a nationwide volunteer program for individuals 55 and older. RSVP of Clinton County connects volunteers with other area service agencies, special events, and programs to meet the needs of the community.
RSVP of Clinton County serves all of Clinton County including; Andover, Calamus, Camanche, Charlotte, Clinton, Dewitt, Delmar, Goose Lake, Grand Mound, Lost Nation, Low Moor, Toronto, Welton, and Wheatland.
RSVP of Clinton County is a non-profit organization and is a part of Senior Corps. Senior Corps is administered by the Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency that improves lives, strengthens communities, and fosters civic engagement through service and volunteering. RSVP is locally sponsored by Mobile Meals United, Inc. RSVP is partially funded by the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service (ICVS) and the Clinton County Board of Supervisors. RSVP also depends on local community donations.
