The Storehouse Food Pantry holds a neighborhood pantry model that takes food to areas of Albuquerque that have the most need. It happens the first Saturday of every month at the Westside Community Center. Volunteer positions include: Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Check In, Packing Lead, Greeter/Bag Distributor, Product Leads, Distribution Team, and Carry-Out Lead. All volunteers must have good "people skills." Most positions only require light lifting. Two of the positions would involve heavier lifting.
The general description is the set up, distribution, and breakdown of a food pantry at a mobile location.
