Tucson Clean & Beautiful offers a variety of one-time volunteer opportunities for groups small and large including clean-up events, invasive weed removal projects (buffelgrass), participation in community education events such as Earth Day and the Clean Air Fair, tree planting projects, special recycling events, or joining other volunteer litter clean-ups. Many other events are publicized or held in cooperation with partnering organizations throughout the Tucson metro area.
Ongoing volunteer projects are also available for organized community groups through the Adopt-a-Park and Public Areas program for cleaning up litter at sites including parks, washes, streets, desert and other public areas.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or responsible adult leader. Certain projects may have specific age restrictions and/or skill requirements to participate.
