Girls Inc. at YWCA Minneapolis


The program partner will partner with a Youth Counselor to provide the Girls Inc. Experience for youth ages 9-14. YWCA Girls Inc. programming includes topics that inspire and educate girls in the areas of math, science, financial literacy, leadership development, pregnancy prevention, and positive decision making. The volunteer believes in the mission of Girls Inc. and the YWCA to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Qualifications

> Ability to communicate in Spanish with youth
>Ability to serve as a mentor and role model to girls
>Passion for youth programming related to math, science, financial literacy, leadership development pregnancy prevention, and positive decision making

>Ability to commit to volunteer sites and schedule
>Willingness to participate in enrichment and facilitation activities
>Access to transportation for travel to school programming site
