At US Together, Inc. we value the health of our refugees. Achieving and maintaining good health leads to a greater life in the US, including the path to self-sufficiency. We are looking for volunteers to aid in the administrative duties of medical case management with the purpose of improving refugee wellness. A volunteer in this position would aid with scheduling appointments and arranging and/or providing transportation to appointments. There will also be aspects of improving health literacy for clients and educating them on the resources available to them in Columbus.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Attendance of mandatory training
- Cultural Competence
- Background Check
- Driver’s License and Insurance
- At least 18 years old
