S.O.S. Gamers is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bridging the gap in technology and information for lower income residents living in New York City. Our current programs involve video gaming afterschool activities which support at-risk youth with the goals of keeping them safe while teaching them various life skills.
We are currently seeking creative individuals to us help plan and conduct fundraisers that involve the gaming culture. This can be anything from simply running a Twitch.tv stream fundraiser to organizing a LAN Party to hosting a Super Smash Bros. tournament. We'd love to hear from anyone who has a passion for gaming and would like to support the work we do with youth in New York City.
