The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for raising funds to cover the operational costs of BHRSC through fundraising promotions and online drives and oversees yearly fundraising campaigns such as special pleas, Virtual Valentines and Debbie’s Dawgs.
The Fundraising Coordinator responds to and assesses online inquiries for fundraising opportunities and presents this information to the Board.
The coordinator presents creative ideas to the Board of possible income generating ideas and takes the lead on assigned fundraising projects according to the yearly fundraising plan.
The Fundraising Coordinator track expenses and income for each fundraiser they lead and reports this information to the BOD and the Donor Development Coordinator for assessment and helps with the development of the yearly fundraising plan as needed. They work closely with Donor Development Coordinator and Social Media team.
The Coordinator is not obligated to help with events but is encouraged to do so.
The Fundraising Coordinator is a member of the Executive Committee and is obligated to participate in quarterly meetings. Must be responsive, reliable and check email daily.
This job requires 5-15 hours per month and is overseen by the President.
