THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT RESPONSE TO THIS OPPORTUNITY! OUR OPENINGS HAVE FILLED UP, BUT WE DO HAVE SPOTS ON OUR WAITING LIST IN CASE OF ANY CANCELLATIONS.
THANK YOU AGAIN!
Northwest Harvest and the Seahawks are partnering for the 25th Seahawks Tackle Hunger! Volunteers are needed to help collect cash donations before the Monday night game against the Buffalo Bills.
All volunteers must be registered ahead of time. There are no drop-in opportunities for this event.
Date: Monday, November 7
Shift: 1:15pm - 5:45pm
- All volunteers must be signed in and escorted into the stadium by Seahawks staff at the same time before the gates open.
- As a result, we aren't able to have volunteers start later than 1:15pm
- All volunteers should be prepared to stay until 5:45pm, because everyone will be escorted out of the stadium by Seahawks staff. (Unless of course you have game tickets!)
Duties: Volunteers will be in large gathering areas of the stadium, holding signs and buckets to collect cash donations from fans, and sharing information about Northwest Harvest. Volunteers won't be near the field or the seating areas.
Groups: Because of the nature of the event, this isn't an event that's good for large groups. It's best for individuals, families, or groups of about 4-5.
Youth Volunteers: Youth volunteers are welcome at the event, but all volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian accompany them. One parent/guardian can supervise a maximum of two youth.
Parking: Not included. Parking is typically $25 to $50, but public transportation is a great option for this event.
Hour Reporting: Northwest Harvest can sign off on hours for work or school purposes, but are unable to provide court-related community service.
For more information, please respond to this post or email Jennifer Chew, Volunteer Program Manager, at jenniferc@northwestharvest.org.
All volunteers must be registered ahead of time. No drop-in volunteer opportunities available.
All donations from this event will support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 380 food banks, meal programs, and high need schools. Last year, we provided more than 34 million pounds of food through this network.
