We have an active group of very experienced volunteers working on bikes but getting things organized and managing basic tube replaced steals valuable time from critical safety repairs by our mechanics.
We desperately need someone to work on flats and someone to sign people in and triage the bikes. These two positions are key tasks that will be a major benefit to the team by taking these tasks of their plate.

About Good Karma Bikes
Location:
460 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose, CA 95126, US
Mission Statement
Good Karma Bikes (GKB) provides homeless people, youth from low-income families, and the working poor with safe, reliable bicycle transportation to provide them the freedom and ability to travel to the places, appointments and people that can facilitate their improved quality of life; and sometimes, a way off the streets and into a better life.
Description
Homeless and very low income workers are often deprived of a basic personal freedom most of us take for granted - the ability to travel where and when they desire. That's why Good Karma Bikes is dedicated to: Transportation for Transformation!
Our Good Karma Bikes manifesto is simple and straightforward: provide and repair homeless and low income youth and adults' bicycles, for free. No need is turned away at our community bike repair clinics, where we teach bicycle mechanic skills to interested clients and volunteers so that they may join us in service to others. The "pay it forward" spirit is strong within our community. And if that weren't enough, Good Karma Bikes serves as credible and compelling job references for our client-volunteers.
