Kick-off the holiday season by volunteering at Quad City Arts' Festival of Trees! A time-honored tradition in the QC, Festival of Trees is a holiday extravaganza and fundraiser for Quad City Arts. Volunteers are crucial to the success of Festival! We need folks who can play with kids in Reindeer Games, take tickets, sell treats in the Treat Shoppe - and MORE! Quad City Arts is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Quad Cities through the arts.
Description
Quad City Arts presents performing arts education to 40,000 students annually, hosts art exhibits in Rock Island and Moline at the QCInternational Airport, presents public scultprues throughout the Quad Cities and hires student apprentices to create art during the summer. Festival of Trees is a 11 day celebrations of the arts in downtown Davenport with parties, displays, helium balloon parade, Santa's North Pole and so much more. Proceeds from Festival of Trees (begun in 1986) fund the educational and community work. over 3000 volunteers are needed to produce Festival of Trees. www.quadcityarts.com
