Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program is loooking for volunteers to assist in mentoring children ages 6-18 for at least 2 hours a week for a year. This can be any day of the week. Volunteers go through screening and a 4 hour training program. Ages of these Volunteers is ages 18 and over, and the children are from Valley Springs (3boys), West Point (1boy), Copperopolis (3boys) and Avery (1girl) and all teenagers. You will enjoy getting to know these students and may develop a friendship. This is good for September and October. If interested in assisting them, please call Kaila Gaffney at 209/736-6078 or e-mail kgaffney@ccoe.k12.ca.us. They have an hour program each month to inform you what the program is like. Just call or e-mail her for the date and time each month.

Research, Resources and Professional Services for the non-profit sector. Foundation Center grant writing membership, open to the public on a drop in basis. Come in and look for grantmakers for your cause on our database. Look for funds to help build your capacity, operational or start -up budgets.
