Valley Youth House (VYH) empowers and strengthens the lives of children, youth and families through inclusive programming that builds resilience and fosters growth and independence. Our Montgomery County office provides Independent Living Services to youth between the ages of 14-21.
The Valley Youth House Mentoring Program, (Montgomery County) is interested in connecting with individuals who possess a strong passion for working with youth from a wide variety of backgrounds in the role of a MENTOR.
This is an exciting opportunity to positively shape and impact the life of a deserving young person. This is also a great opportunity to network with other professionals who are currently or would like to be a part of our community of Mentors.
Mentors are encouraged to participate in match events and meetings with youth on a bi-weekly basis. Mentors will recieve formal and informal trainings on VYH best practices and must complete complete application process.
Evening, and weekend opportunities are available to best support the schedule of the mentor and the mentee.
