The volunteer will assist the STEM Coordinator/ YDP in planning, implementing STEAM Machine, a program with the objectives of increasing STEM awareness, interest, proficiency, and persistence. Additionally, assist in providing supervision and control over members, creating and implementing program schedules, assist with ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment and disciplining members when necessary.
A large portion of the population served at John Muir Middle School are spanish speakers, and we are hoping that our STEM volunteer can assist our STEM Coordinator/YDP with translating.
