That venerable Bostonian Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, "People only see what they are prepared to see."Well, this month, our panel of thinkers and doers is guaranteed to prepare you to see things like you never have before. Guests are invited to grab their friends and join us for WGBH’s take on happy hour. Prepare to be surprised by speakers Johnny Earle of Johnny Cupcakes, David Edwards of Harvard ArtScience Lab and Anastacia Marx, author of Combat-Ready Kitchen. **Volunteers must be 21+ years of age.
November is another busy month and your help is certainly needed. Please review the shifts listed below and email me at jaime_reese@wgbh.org if you can assist. Please make sure to include the following information in your email response:
- Your full name
- Event (including date)
- Preferred shift (if multiple shifts are offered)
- Top 3 preferred positions (in order of preference)
Positions: Registration (6:30-9:30pm), Greeter (6:45-8pm), Merchandise (6:30-9:15pm), Food Host (6-9:30pm), Merchandise (6:30-9:15pm), Activity Table (6-9pm), Drink Cash Handler (6:30-9:15pm), Photographer* (6:30-9:15pm).

Description
GBH productions are seen and heard across the United States and Canada. In fact, we produce more of the PBS prime-time and Web lineup than any other station. Home video and podcasts, teaching tools for schools and home-schooling, services for people with hearing or vision impairments...we're always looking for new ways to serve the community!
