Mission Statement

Joi's Angels is a faith based ministry dedicated to providing assistance for displaced, challenged, or homeless adults offering a safe haven for them to eat and sleep. We offer supportive services through all stages of transition from homelessness to independent living by working with integrated resources. We will effectively provide respectable, safe, and dignified support to the underserved communities of New Jersey.

Description

Joi's Angels currently houses 16 chronically homeless individuals within the Essex County community. Our progrm addresses the needs of individuals requiring an array of services that include but are not limited to housing, counseling, and social services. On site casae management and referrals are provided for services such as mental health, substance abuse, life skills, educational enhancement, and employment counseling as a part of our program matrix. Our program maintains partnerships with various organizations that enable our residents through out-patient care and counseling to become self-suffiecent and decrease the rate of recidivism and remain in housing.
