The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. The GMP (Guardianship Monitoring Program) is looking for someone to help out a few days a week with Administrative Assistant duties.
General Duties include- picking up and dropping off mail- answering phones and responding to messages- sending and receiving emails- replenishing forms required by Researchers and Supervisors- be familiar with the work of the researchers (training on site)- completing the GMP Training (on site)- Assist clients with questions, provide required forms as needed-receive new cases from the Clerk's office and preparing them for research- maintain database of cases, assist in preparation of the GMP Annual report- track personnel hours and report monthly and quarterly to the Court (and RSVP).
Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook is needed and the Court has its own software program you will need to learn (Odyssey).
Hours are 9 to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
