ORGANIZATION: Children's Cancer and Blood Foundation

  • 32 people are interested

Help CCBF set up and run their annual breakthrough ball at the iconic Plaza Hotel. The gala helps to raise $1 million+ each year to enable the CCBF lab to conduct valuable research into children's cancer and blood diseases. Funds raised also help to provide treatment for children with cancer and blood diseases at the Division of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. It's set to be yet another fantastic evening this year!

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, outgoing, approachable, and well organized. If that's you, get in touch!

Volunteer roles will vary and will include many activities/opportunities. Volunteers must be available to attend an orientation ahead of the gala for a full debrief on the event, including the assignment of volunteer tasks.

We are looking for volunteers who are available from 2pm. Should you not be able to volunteer for the full shift ending at 12am, we will be able to arrange earlier finish times where possible.

The dress code for the evening will be formal wear (colorful formal wear is best!), and a meal will be provided for volunteers working into the evening.

Volunteers must be aged 18+
