The Actors Theatre Workshop seeks experienced theatre professionals to join with this dynamic theatre company as we develop and produce new plays.
Production managers, stage managers, and members of the production crew will have the opportunity to work in a creative process of development under the direction of Thurman E. Scott, ATW's Artistic Director and Founder.
Mr. Scott is an award winning actor, writer, director and teacher of acting; his mentor Stella Adler said "he is a creative revolutionary.... whose work is at the center of the conflict of the universe. He is the inheritor of the Stanislavsky and my legacy whose work advances acting techniques for the next generation?. Become a member of this award-winning organization and continue to develop as a creative professional.

Description

Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for proffessional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturaly under-served communities.
