The Administrative Office Assistant will perform a variety of word processing tasks depending on project deadlines to include:

  • Creating and editing documents - letters, brochures, forms, policies, manuals, reports, prepare power point presentations, etc
  • Reply to emails / voicemails
  • Collect contact data / online research (Industry news, competitors in marketplace, etc) [Database Building]
  • Locate event venues
  • Confirm workshop participants
  • Manage Social Media accounts
  • Update event information on various online websites/community calendars
  • Liaison between Executive Director and other Leadership Members

Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Power Point, Email, and Publisher and be comfortable using internet websites. Must know how to send/attach documents. Must be comfortable with mail merge using Microsoft Word. Must have computer and internet. Must have strong administrative and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. Must have effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
