Support The Salvation Army Door of Hope women and family shelter in teaching others how to grow the community garden. Qualifications and requirements for this position:

  • Must be able to commit to two hour a week. Day and time is flexible.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate
  • Have strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and participants
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Lead small groups in maintaining health of vegetable garden, such as watering and feeding of plants, cleaning plant debris, and communicating garden needs with clients.
